Sub-varsity squads tame Lions

The Whitehouse JV and freshman teams went into Lion country last Friday and came away with two hard fought wins over their district rivals from Henderson.

In the JV game, the Wildcats found themselves in a physical battle, but they would come out on top with a score of 35-20, preserving an undefeated district run so far.

The Wildcats played tough defense and benefited from balanced scoring as Drew Flynn led the way with 9 points followed by Tanner Fedell with 6 and Seth Cashion with 5, as four other Wildcats would tally 3 points each.

The freshmen had a much easier time with the Lions as they used a 27-9 run in the second half to post a 50-26 blow out.

Skip Caldwell led the way in scoring with 14 points and Justin Haney poured in 11 for the night, while Logan Taylor and Jacob Hilburn added 5 points each.
