Lady Cats improve to 4-0

Whitehouse vs. Pine Tree
The Whitehouse Lady Cats hosted the Pine Tree Pirates Friday night and scored their fourth district win. Pine Tree was excited to score first on the Lady Cats but that was the only shot that keeper Melissa Camp let into the goal area.
Lindsey Pritchard answered the score with two goals. The half ended with a score of 2-1.
The mid fielders and defense really stepped it up in the second half to hold Pine Tree scoreless.
The Lady Cats came out with guns blazing with Heather Lofties scoring, along with Julie Woolverton, Pritchard and Jasmine Azghani. They received assists from Jordan Jackson and Candace Campsey.
With the 6-1 win, The Lady Cats record for the season is 9-2 with a perfect record for district of 4-0.

Whitehouse vs. Kilgore
Kilgore hosted the Ladycats Tuesday night, Feb. 6, in the R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium. The first score of the game was by Kilgore in the first four minutes of the game. Lindsey Pritchard answered the score with a beautiful kick on a foul 11 minutes later.
The first half ended with a score of 1-1.
In the second half Elissa Parker scored from an assist from Pritchard. This is has become a common occurrence with Pritchard helping her teammates with wellplaced kicks.
This time was a little different because Pritchard was in the process of putting her hair back up in a ponytail. Being the experienced player she is, she did not miss a step and landed the ball in the correct position for the assist.
Heather Lofties scored the final goal assisted by Julie Woolverton to clinch the game with a score 3-1.
