Soccer teams score victories over Hallsville

Whitehouse 1, Hallsville 0

Tuesday night's District 17- 4A soccer action brought another win to the Wildcats with Eric O'Neill and Paul Metzner scoring two shootout goals.

The winning goal was scored by Justin Parker improving the Wildcats' record to 10-3-2 overall and 4-1 in district play.

The JV team also won 3-0.

Whitehouse plays Chapel Hill at home Friday at 7 p.m. The guys face Marshall on their home turf Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Lady Cat soccer brought the house down on Hallsville Tuesday night with another impressive shutout. This pounding occurred against Hallsville on their home turf.

Two goals each were scored by Alissa Parker and Lindsey Pritchard with single goals being scored by Kelli Hill, Heather Lofties, Julie Woolverton, Jasmin Azghani and Giselle Bryce.

The Lady Cats' record moves up to 12-2 for the season with a district tally of 5 wins and no losses. The girls move on to Chapel Hill for play on Friday night at 6 p.m. The next home game will be against Marshall on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
