Collier, Beaton to wed

YVONNE COLLIER & JASON BEATON

The engagement and approaching marriage of Yvonne Marie Collier and Jason Carl Beaton, both of Whitehouse, is announced.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of retired Air Force Msgt. Michael and Priscilla Collier of Whitehouse. She is the granddaughter of retired Chief Msgt. Marion and Mary Collier of Tyler, and Mary Simms of Coolidge, Ariz.

Yvonne is a 2001 graduate of Whitehouse High School and May 2006 graduate of Tyler Junior College with an associate's degree in an applied science, dental hygiene. She is currently an in-store support lead for Sears in Tyler.

The groom-to-be is the son of Tracy and Gigi Delk and Bobby and Tina Beaton, all of Whitehouse. He is the grandson of Madeline Beaton of Gillham, Ark., Charles and Frances Delk of Quitman, and Wayne and Pat Williams of Tyler.

Jason is a 2002 graduate of Whitehouse High School and will graduate in May 2007 with a bachelor's in biology from Baylor University. He is currently director of marketing and aquatics at Apple Swim and Fitness in Tyler.

The wedding is to take place March 31, 2007 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church in Tyler. The ceremony is to be officiated by Monsignor Joseph Strickland of Tyler and Mark Morman of Waco, friend of the bride and groom.

The wedding party consists of Amanda Waldrop of Lindale, Bethany Loudamy of Whitehouse, Ellory Wells of Flower Mound and Zayne Forehand of Dallas.
