Kickers down Chapel Hill

Coming off a shootout win against Hallsville, the Cats needed to come out strong against the Bulldogs. Coach Chris Clemons moved Daniel Peek and Julio Alleman up from JV due to injuries and illnesses.

The Cats were able to get on the board with 16:30 remaining in the first half when Caleb Jacques crossed the ball to Howard Rodriguez who volleyed the shot into the goal for the 1-0 lead. Just two minutes later, Eric O'Neill crossed the ball to Rodriguez who pushed the ball past the keeper for the 2-0 halftime lead.

Jacques started the secondhalf scoring 25 yards out, sending the ball into the upper corner of the goal. O'Neill finished the scoring for Whitehouse with six minutes remaining in the game, giving them the 4-0 victory. Justin Parker recorded his ninth shutout of the season.

The Cats totally dominated the game, outshooting the Bulldogs 20-4. Starting the scoring for the Cats was Ivan Perez, who received a through ball from Trey McNeel and was able to get past the defense and beat the keeper for a 1-0 lead.

They were unable to score their second goal until, with 12 minutes remaining in the game, Taylor Burns put the ball at the top of the goal out of the keeper's reach. Travis Lowthorp recorded his seventh shutout of the season.

The Cats moved the ball very well, eliminating scoring chances for the opponents. WH also took 11 corner kicks i n the contest.
