Third Awakening wins Battle of the Bands
      Third Awakening won Ambassador Baptist Church's Battle of the Bands, taking home cash and prizes including three hours of recording time at Rose City Sound. The event, held Saturday, Feb. 24 at Cain Elementary, featured six groups competing for top band, and Luminate headlining the event.

FFA groups plan donkey basketball game Wednesday
      Whitehouse and Troup Future Farmers of America members will face off in a donkey basketball game on Wednesday, March 7. The game will be played in the C.L. Nix gym on the Whitehouse Junior High campus. Admission is $6 if purchased before the game and $8 at the gate.
