Third Awakening wins Battle of the Bands

Third Awakening won Ambassador Baptist Church's Battle of the Bands, taking home cash and prizes including three hours of recording time at Rose City Sound.

The event, held Saturday, Feb. 24 at Cain Elementary, featured six groups competing for top band, and Luminate headlining the event.

"We sold a little over 500 tickets," said Kara Godfrey, who estimated a crowd of 600 including church staff and band members. "We were expecting around 200 people to attend. God came through in every area."
