A worker from Major Signs of Tyler adjusts the marquee for Bayou Grill which began serving this week. Entrees for the Cajun-flavored restaurant include catfish, steak, po' boys, shrimp and oysters. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Owners Roger and Carla Hickman are planning a grand opening in the next couple of weeks. The Hickmans are returning to the Whitehouse area; originally from Louisiana, they lived here for 12 years before moving.
