FOUR WINDS FAIRE
Renaissance festival begins this weekend

Enjoy merry days and gallant knights at Four Winds Faire's annual season of full combat jousting, Renaissance entertainment, swashbuckling swordsmen, pirates and buccaneers, artisan demonstrations, craft booths, and food and drink fit for a king and queen.

The 2007 season opens Saturday, March 3 and runs for eight consecutive weekends through Sunday, April 22. A full day of merriment is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 5-12 (children 4 and under are free).

Each of the festival's eight weekends will have a theme, with this Saturday and Sunday "Family Adventure." With each paid adult, one child 12 and under will be admitted free.

"Four Winds Faire offers a unique opportunity for families to have an educational and fun experience and escape the stresses of modern life for a day," said Dustin Stephens, owner and general manager. "We have recaptured the essence of entertainment in the Renaissance era that will spark imaginations of the young and not-so-young alike."

Featuring over 40 live performances daily, Four Winds Faire is located off Hwy. 110 South between Whitehouse and Troup. Gates are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call 903-839-5271.
