Marion Johnson Jr.

JACKSONVILLE - Services for Marion "Bonnie" Johnson Jr., 60, Jacksonville, were held Feb. 25 at Seminary Heights Church of Christ with Brother Calvin Dansby officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Henderson, under direction of Williams Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mr. Johnson died Feb. 18, 2007 in a Jacksonville hospital.

He was born Dec. 9, 1946 in Jacksonville and attended Jacksonville public schools. He was a former employee of Skones Manufacturing for several years.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherell L. Collier, Jacksonville; mother, Sylvia Johnson, Jacksonville; brothers, Johnnie C. Johnson, Jacksonville, Marvin E. Johnson, Whitehouse, and Billie Ray Johnson, Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Margarett Curley, Jacksonville, Charlene Miles, Dallas, and Mattie Thompson, Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Williams, Willie Johnson, David Boyd and Stanley Tennial.

Honorary pallbearers were brothers of Seminary Heights Church of Christ.
