Elsie "Geri" Coleman

Mass for Elsie "Geri" Coleman, 72, Troup, was celebrated Feb. 27 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, with the Rev. Terry Fancher and Father Dan Daughtry officiating.

Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Rosary followed the graveside service at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Mrs. Coleman died Feb. 25, 2007 in Troup.

She was born Feb. 7, 1935 in DeQuincy, La. to Samuel Toy and Dora Emily Rainwater Franklin. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and had lived in Troup since 1997, moving from Port Neches.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, A.M. Coleman, Troup; son, Sam Coleman, Arp; daughter, Debbie Fancher, Troup; sister, Joyce Bradley, Village Mills; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
