      Texas Tech University has announced fall 2006 graduates. Among those are Cody Wayne Combs of Troup with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and applied economics; Jerad Waggy of Bullard, B.S., personal financial planning; and Jonathan Greening, B.S., engineering technology.

      Stephen F. Austin State University has released its Dean's List for the fall semester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled in 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Stephen Middleton earns honors at Stephen F. Austin
      Stephen R. Middleton of Whitehouse has been named to the fall Dean's Honor List at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business. Students on the Dean's Honor List must maintain a grade point average of 3.50- 3.99 with at least 12 semester hours. Stephen had a 3.8 GPA.

Deadline March 9 for next ACT test
      College-bound high school students can register by March 9 for the next national ACT test date. The test will be administered nationwide on Saturday, April 14.
