Lady Cats blank Athens

Whitehouse hosted Athens on Friday Feb. 23 at Wildcat Stadium.

Jasmine Azghani started the scoring the night for the Ladycats with an assist by Elissa Parker. The first half ended with an unassisted score by Lindsey Pritchard.

Kayla Mason scored in the second half unassisted and Pritchard also scored again.

Kelly Hill placed a corner kick in front of the goal and Pritchard headed it into the goal for a hat rick.

Jamie Peace, along with a strong defense consisting of Brittany Millican, Jordon Jackson, Kelly Hill and Giselle Bryce , held Athens scoreless.

The final score of the game was Whitehouse 5, Athens 0.
