Donors sought for blood drive
      Farmer's Insurance and Sam's Club are sponsoring a blood drive with Stewart Blood Center on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kay Taylor, agent/owner of the Whitehouse office of Farmer's Insurance, is recruiting members of the community to commit to giving blood on that date.

American Legion sponsoring fund-raiser for Overton veteran
      Troup's American Legion Auxiliary Unit #418 will have a fund-raiser Saturday, March 17, with proceeds to help a paralyzed veteran build a handicapped accessible home. Wheelcover found at local car wash
      A wheelcover was found at the Hurricane Car Wash on Hwy. 110. The person who found it believes it was lost there Tuesday, Feb. 27, around 3 p.m. The good citizen has brought it to the Tri County Leader office, where the owner may identify and pick it up. Call 839-2353 for more information.

Festival fun continues
      Four Winds Faire continues this weekend with "Renaissance Romance" as the theme. The annual event runs eight consecutive weekends, offering a season full of jousting, swordsmen, pirates and buccaneers, artisan demonstrations, craft booths and food and drink fit for a king and queen.
