Cats win Classic
      The Whitehouse varsity took home the championship in the 2007 Wildcat Classic baseball tournament last weekend, winning all four games played. The Wildcats opened play Thursday with a double-header against Paris and Greenville.

Gymnastics on tap this weekend
      Texas East Gymnastics Booster Club is hosting the first Rose City Classic Gymnastics Invitational for female gymnasts of all competitive levels. The Rose City Classic Gymnastics Invitational will take place March 10-11 at the University of Texas at Tyler Patriot Center.

Tigers rally for 3rd place in Gladewater tourney
      Fresh off winning the Super Series Tournament, the Tigers captured third in the Gladewater Tournament, held March 1-3. Troup was seeded second in pool play (following a tie-breaker for the top spot). The Tigers opened tournament play with Chapel Hill Mount Pleasant and won 9-1.
