Donors sought for blood drive

Farmer's Insurance and Sam's Club are sponsoring a blood drive with Stewart Blood Center on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Kay Taylor, agent/owner of the Whitehouse office of Farmer's Insurance, is recruiting members of the community to commit to giving blood on that date.

Stewart Blood Center will have two or three mobile units in the Sam's Club parking lot between 10am and 4 pm.

Ken Mitchell with the Stewart Blood Center says the blood supply is critically low. From the time a person gives blood, it takes four days before it could be given to someone in need.
