Charles Henry Isbell
Services for Charles Henry Isbell, 76, of the Concord community near Troup, were held March 6 at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Rev. Duane Daugherty officiating. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites conducted by the Dixie Masonic Lodge #272, Troup, was in the Knoxville Cemetery near Troup.
Mr. Isbell died March 4 in a Tyler hospice facility. He was born Oct. 23, 1930 in Winnsboro to the late Clarence Albert Isbell, Sr. and Etta Jo Zachary Isbell. He was a resident of Kema before moving to Troup 25 years ago.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Isbell was a retired welder, having been employed by a contractor for NASA.
He was a member of the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Dixie Masonic Lodge #272, Troup.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Isbell, Clarence Albert Isbell Jr. and Leroy Isbell.
Survivors include his wife, Kristina Isbell, Concord; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and J.C. Kee, Troup; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were members of Dixie Masonic Lodge #272, Troup.
