John Glenn Graves

BURLESON - John Glenn Graves, 75, retired owner of Graves Transmission Service, left this earth Feb. 26, 2007 to be with his Lord. Services were held March 1 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel of Fort Worth with burial at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mr. Graves was born June 10, 1931.

He was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was always seen hugging and holding his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a love for many sports, fishing hunting and racing. He was a member of Carpenter's Church in Joshua.

Mr. Graves was a 1948 graduate of Whitehouse High School.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gene Graves; son, John Graves Jr. and wife Deborah; brother, Richard R. Graves and wife Lucille; sister, Cora Mae Tomlin and husband Joe; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
