Texas Tech reports honors lists

LUBBOCK -- Texas Tech University has announced its fall semester honors students who qualified for either the dean's or president's lists.

To make the President's List, a student has to take at least 12 qualifying credit hours and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean's List also must take at least 12 hours and have a GPA of 3.5 to 3.9.

Area students named to the Dean's List are:

TROUP -- Robert Frank Clary, petroleum engineering, and Amanda Rae Smith, retailing.

TYLER -- Robin D. Blalock, nursing RN to BSN; Blake Edward Boyd, mechanical engineering; Jeffrey Wayne Brower, personal financial planning; Allison Brooke Garlitz, journalism; Amy Katherine Grinnell, retailing; Amy Lea Larsh, early childhood; John Nathan Luman, political science; Hanny M. McIntire, interior design; Stephen R. Middleton, marketing; Kathryn M. Mortimer, retailing; Jordan Michael Owens, biology; Eric J. Sivertson, undeclared; Emily Carol Thornton, restaurant, hotel and institutional management; Melissa Neal Whitus, nursing RN to BSN; and Roxann Wylie, journalism.

Area students named to the President's List are:

ARP -- Brian Philip Gleitz, mechanical engineering; and Tara Morgan Sasser, restaurant, hotel and institutional management.

TROUP -- Alyssa Marie Fratangelo, retailing.

TYLER -- Megan E. Dodd, sociology; Tiffany L. Kindle, early childhood; Chelsea Ann Luker, psychology; Marlowe Bethy McIntire, early childhood; Jennifer Michelle Neely, dance; Chinyere Onwuzurumba, chemistry; Brittany Meredith Parker, music; Jo Layne Skillman, communication design; Megan Elizabeth Tanner, early childhood restaurant, hotel and institutional management.
