Lady Cats go to 12-0 The Lady Cats played the Lady Pirates on Tuesday night in Longview. The Lady Pirates came out gunning for Whitehouse, hoping to wrap up second place in district. The loss currently ties them with Lindale for second. They gave it all they had to win, even shortening the field by the defense, but that did not stop Elyssa Parker who found a hole in their defense and punched the ball through for the only goal of the game. Jamie Peace made some tremendous saves for the Lady Cats in her second shutout. Most of the game was played in the middle of the field with both teams working hard to keep the other out of their box. Whitehouse now has a record of 18-2 overall with a district record of 12-0. The Lady Cats host Hallsville Friday March 9 at Wildcat stadium at 7 p.m. -- Reported by Pat Millican |
