Hazel Waurieka McCoy Webb

Services for Hazel Waurieka McCoy Webb, 91, of Bullard were held March 13 at Bullard Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Barron officiating.

Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Webb died March 11, 2007 at a Tyler hospice. She was born Dec. 25, 1915 in Tulsa, Okla., to the late Mack and Golda Hartman Williford. She retired as a nurse from Nan Travis Hospital in Jacksonville after 15 years of service, and then served as a Mission Service Corps volunteer for 10 years as a missionary in the lakes area near Jasper. She was a member of Bullard Southern Baptist Church and Dorcas Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her first husband, B.C. McCoy Sr.; brother, Eldridge Williford; one sister; and one grandchild. Survivors include her husband, Leon Webb, Louisiana; son, Dr. B.C. McCoy, Troup; daughters, Madalynn Cunningham, Tyler, and Kay Ritch, Bullard; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Muriel Solomon, Walter Hubbard, Arlin Harris, Tom Oxford, Ronnie Bowman and Carl Kine. If desired, memorials may be made to Bullard Southern Baptist Church; or Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
