Lady Cats blank Mavs
      The Lady Cats traveled to Marshall during Spring Break to finish their district games. The scoring started early in the first half with Lindsay Pritchard taking the ball into the goal. Heather Lofties scored the second goal of the first half with an assist from Pritchard.

Cats defeat Tribe
      Less than 24 hours after a tough road loss at Kilgore, the varsity Whitehouse Wildcats were back in action in their home opener last Friday night against Jacksonville. Grant Brandon would take the mound for the Wildcats and would hold the Indian bats down early.

Boys soccer faces Palestine Friday
      The varsity Wildcats won their last two conference games against Marshall and Chapel Hill, improving their record to 12-2 (17-4-2 overall) and finishing second in district. Whitehouse now faces Palestine for the bi-district championship at 8 p.m. Friday in Nacogdoches.

Tigers slay Elysian Fields
      Troup rebounded from its first district loss to Tatum on Friday, March 16 with a resounding victory over Elysian Fields Tuesday night, 11-0. Senior pitcher Nick Harrison struck out seven in five shutout innings as the Tigers improved to 3-1 in district.
