Lloyd J. Theriot

Mass for Lloyd J. Theriot, 84, of Whitehouse was celebrated March 26 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Dan Daugherty officiating.

Burial was in Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Malakoff, under direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Tyler. Mr. Theriot died March 24, 2007 in Tyler.

He was born March 4, 1923 in White Castle, La., to the late Allen and Lillie Bergeron Theriot. He served in the Navy during World War II, and lived in New Orleans, La., from 1947 until he moved to the Tyler area in 2006. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and was preceded in death by sister, Ethel Ponville.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Anne Denoux Theriot, Whitehouse; daughter, Loylyn Miles, Whitehouse, Marilyn Laing, Gun Barrel City, and Teddi Sparks, Houma, La.; sisters, Hilda Doran, Baton Rouge, La., Faye Seely, San Diego, Calif., Mae Hermann, Metairie, La., and Lois Herring, Hammond, La.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Miles, Keith Laing, Kary Laing, Aron Laing, Tim Sparks and Joey Lafranca.
