Mary Ellen Burnett

Services for Mary Ellen Burnett, 68, Troup, were held March 23 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel in Troup with the Rev. Mike Cline officiating.

Mrs. Burnett died March 19, 2007 in a Tyler hospital. She was born March 4, 1939 in Bellevue, Iowa to the late Clyde Clifford and Junita Helen Schlentz Fuller. She was a Catholic and lived in Troup for 20 years.

Survivors include sons, James Burnett, Iowa, and Cletus Burnett, Overton; daughters, Cherie Archer and Barbara Miller, both of Troup, and Laura Burnett, Tyler; brother, Thomas Fuller, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Archer, Ricky Burnett, Adam Burnett, Robert Burnett, Chad Nielsen, Dominic Rayford and J.R. Thomas.
