James Oran Riddle

Memorial services for James Oran Riddle, 84, Tyler, were held March 24 at Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Tyler.

Mr. Riddle died March 16, 2007 in Tyler.

He was born May 15, 1922 to the late Dave and Lizzie Emmons Riddle and lived in Tyler most of his life. He served in the Army and worked in farming and construction and was a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Kirby Riddle, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include son, James Riddle, Tyler; daughter, Carlene Riddle; sister, Evelyn Scates, Whitehouse; fiancée, Dessie Wilson, Tyler; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
