Donald Ray Rose

BEN WHEELER - Services for Donald Ray Rose, 77, Ben Wheeler, were held March 26 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Chandler with Brother Anthony Cheek officiating.

Burial was in Edom Cemetery. Mr. Rose died March 24, 2007 at a Tyler hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Whitney. He worked at Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. in Tyler.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Bonnie Greffett; brother, Cue Rose; and sister, Gladys Keene. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Rose; sons, Dalton Rose, Grand Prairie, Howard Rose, Whitehouse, Tim Rose and George Robinson, both of Winona; daughters, Elaine Graninger, Buchannan Dam, Linda Riddle, Abernathy, Tina Owens, Baytown, and LaJuana Gibbs, Chandler; brothers, John Rose, Melton, Wash., Ed Rose, Amarillo, Mark Rose, Burnett, and Bob Rose, Whitney; sisters, Mary Nell Young, Odessa, Inez Turner, Hobbs, N.M., Christine Purvis and Nina Depoyster, both of Brownfield, Faye Warren, Wilfforth, and Irene Winslett, Lubbock; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
