Porter, Brandon-Langley marry March 24
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Teresa Watson of Sweetwater and the late Sidney Porter of Roscoe. She is granddaughter of Harold and Frances McFaul of Mexia, Jim and Joan Hill of Snyder, Beatrice Roberts of Chula Vista, Calif., and the late Elmer Porter of Roscoe. She is a graduate of South Plains College, attended Cisco Junior College and graduated from Roscoe High School. She is a surgical technician at East Texas Medical Center. The groom is the son of Mark and Mary Ann Brandon of Whitehouse and Stephanie Langley of Noonday. He is the grandson of Larry and Carol Branch of Tyler, Eloise Brandon of Whitehouse and the late Wesley P. Brandon, Bill and Glenna Langley, and Jon Ann and Les Talbert, all of Tyler. He is a graduate of Tyler Junior College Paramedic School, Kilgore College Fire Academy, attended Texas Tech University and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He is a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Longview. Stephanie Walker of Lubbock, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Tomlin and Heather Ivey, both of Lubbock, Chaile Bowman of Baton Rouge, La., and Samantha Langley, sister of the groom, of Tyler. Best man was Brian Thompson of Tyler. Shane Davis of Plano, Banks Brandon and Grant Brandon, brothers of the groom, all of Whitehouse, and Cole Langley, brother of the groom, of Noonday served as groomsmen. Flower girls were Aubrey Ann Brandon, sister of the groom, of Whitehouse and Harley Hodgens of Mexia. Ushers for the wedding were Payton Fedell, Caleb Jacque, Luke Shivers and Layne Tidwell, all of Whitehouse. Soloist was Darla Thompson- Speed of Dallas, and Tim Nipp of Whitehouse was the pianist. A reception followed at Hollytree Country Club. Following a wedding trip to California and the Grand Canyon, the couple will reside in Lindale. |
