Tigers rout Bears, 18-1

Powered by 19 hits, the Troup Tigers overwhelmed the Timpson Bears Friday, 18-1, and improved their district record to 4-1.

Hurler Adam Voigt gave up two hits and struck out seven in the win, improving his record to 4-0 on the season.

Voigt also went 4-for-4 at the plate, including a double and a triple for 3 RBIs.

Nick Harrison added a triple and 3 RBIs in a 3-for-5 performance, while Jason O'Steen contributed a triple and 2 RBIs, going 3-for-4.

Jaron Hasley struck the game's lone homerun in the fifth inning, with one runner on base.
