Wiseman honored by state association
An honorary certificate was presented March 31 during the 62nd annual meeting of the TOMA House of Delegates, held at the Marriott Austin North in Round Rock. In his 23 years of service in the House of Delegates, the primary governance body of TOMA, Dr. Wiseman has actively participated in the discussion and debate of policy and administrative resolutions considered by that body. His participation has helped determine the direction of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association and its advocacy for the health care of all Texans. Dr. Wiseman earned his D.O. degree in 1978 from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medi- cine in Fort Worth. Certified in family practice, Dr. Wiseman has maintained a family practice in Whitehouse since 1981 and is active in the community. He was honored in 2004 as Citizen of the Year. Dr. Wiseman was TOMA president from 1999-2000, has chaired and served as a member of numerous association committees, and is chair of the TOMA delegation to the American Osteopathic Association's House of Delegates.
