Jeremy Alan Kersh

Services for Jeremy Alan Kersh, 20, of Flint were held March 30 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Kersh passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 in College Station.

He was born April 30, 1986 in Tyler to Bradley Lynn and Debbie Sue Kersh. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station. Jeremy graduated in 2004 from Grace Community High School. Jeremy was realizing his dream of attending Texas A&M, where he was currently a junior on the Texas A&M Dean's Honor Roll. He would have received his Aggie Ring on April 13, 2007 a day he longingly anticipated, and was scheduled to graduate in May 2008.

Mr. Kersh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Eugene Copland and uncle, Doug Copland.

Jeremy is survived by his loving family including his parents, Bradley and Debbie Copland Kersh of Flint; brothers, Joshua Paul Kersh of Tyler and Brandon Lynn Kersh of Tyler; maternal grandparents, Dottie and George Hall of Tyler; paternal grandparents, Lynn and Sue Kersh of Tyler; aunts and uncles, David Copland of Tyler, Dennis and Kim Copland of Garland, Karl and Donna PanKratz of Tyler, Brenda and Lynn Hogan of Tyler, Kim and Scott Kersh of Whitehouse, Karla and Cevin Price of Tyler, Janette and Garrick Hayes of Bullard; and many cousins.

Memorials in honor of Jeremy may be made to Calvary Baptist Church "Building Fund," 6704 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, 75703.
