Henry Marsh Bell Masonic Lodge meeting

Henry Marsh Bell Masonic Lodge #1371 will meet Monday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the lodge hall. All Masonic Brothers are welcome to attend.

Retired school personnel to meet

Smith County Retired School Personnel Association will meet on Tuesday, April 10 at 2 p.m. Stephen Parr, KLTV Channel 7 Weatherman will be on hand to discuss the best ways to stay safe during East Texas stormy weather. The group meets at Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood, Tyler.

Troup American Legion to meet

Troup American Legion will meet Tuesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. at the legion hall.

Great Texas Trash-Off coming

The Great Texas Trash Off is schedule for April 14 with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Whitehouse City Park. Come and help clean the roadways of Whitehouse neaby highways.

Troup VFW to meet

The Troup VFW will meet Thursday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Troup Library

Whitehouse Recycle Center hours

The Whitehouse Recycle Center is open every Wednesday 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Ave.

Whitehouse library activities

The Whitehouse Library offers these activities: Story time is on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and scrapbooking nights are the third Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Come visit the library!

Troup American Legion hosts karaoke

Troup American Legion Post 418 has karaoke every Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Tender Mercy Trio in Easter concert

Lake Tyler Baptist Church will feature the Tender Mercy Trio in a mini concert during Easter Sunday services beginning at 11 a.m. Nursery facilities and care for preschool children are available. Lake Tyler Baptist Church is located at 13230 CR 285, Tyler.

Spring Fest set for April 28

Prince of Peace Catholic Church is planning its Spring Fest 2007 for April 28. Everyone is invited to come and attend the events, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.

Troup trustees to meet

Troup ISD trustees meet Monday, April 9 at 6:30 at the Troup ISD Administration Office at 201 N. Carolina.

WHS Prom planning meeting

All junior parents and students are asked to attend this planning meeting for the Whitehouse Junior/Senior Prom. The meeting is in the lecture hall on Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m.

WHS Class of 1997 plans reunion

The Whitehouse High School Class of 1997 is seeking contact information for their upcoming 10 year reunion. Anyone who graduated from WHS in 1997 or those with information on 1997 grads, please send that contact information to whsclassof97@gmail.com.

Troup City Council to meet

The regular monthly meeting of the Troup City Council is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. The meeting will be held at the Troup ISD Administration Office at 201 N. Carolina.
