Pageant winners announced

Winners in the recent Today's Girl Pageant, held at Whitehouse High School, take the stage for a final bow.
The Whitehouse High School auditorium was the site of the 2007 Whitehouse Today's Girl Pageant. The pageant was held on Feb. 24. Young ladies competed for awards and the titles of Today's Baby Queen (ages 0-3), Today's Doll (ages 4-6), Today's Miss (7-9), and Today's Teen (ages 13-15).

The contestants competed in Interview, Casual wear, Par ty Dress/Evening Gown and Talent (for ages 7-15).

Talent is optional for the Baby and Doll divisions.

Optional categories for each age group to enter included Photogenic, Portfolio, Best Casual Wear and Best Par ty Dress/Evening Gown.

In the Baby division, results were as follows: Today's Baby Queen Cloe Clayton, daughter of Kevin and Tia Clayton; Baby Princess Rylee Ratliff, daughter of Tony and Brandee Ratliff; and Beauty winner Morgan Godsey, daughter of Trent and Lacy Godsey.

Optional category winners in this division were Morgan Godsey, photogenic winner, and Rylee Ratliff, optional talent winner. VIP awards were also presented to Jacey Hubbard, first place; Wendy Luttrell, second place; and Marlena Ballow, third place.

In the Doll division, results were as follows: Today's Doll Queen Haylei White, daughter of Derrick and Natalie White. Haylei also won Best Party Dress and Photogenic. VIP awards were also presented to Anna Williams, first place; Marisol Hernandez, second place; and Kaci Hamilton, third place.

In the Miss division, results were as follows: Today's Miss Beauty Queen Shelbi Kellis, daughter of Bud and Staci Kellis. Shelbi also won Best Casual Wear and Photogenic. VIP awards were also presented to McKenna Woodlan, first place, and Carley Cummings, second place. Olivia Odom won first place in VIP Beauty only.

In the Teen Division, results were as follows: Today's Teen Queen Emily Rogers, daughter of Tonya Davis, and VoTashia Traylor Today's Teen Beauty Queen, daughter of Shirley Traylor. Optional category winners in this age division were Emily Rogers for Best Evening Gown, Photogenic and Portfolio, and VoTashia Traylor for Best Casual Wear.

The Whitehouse preliminary is one of the numerous Today's Girl preliminaries held throughout the state. Preliminar y winners are now eligible to attend the Today's Girl Texas State Pageant to be held in June in Dallas.
