Lillian Odessa Carlile

Services for Lillian Odessa Carlile, 86, of Troup were held April 14 at Memorial Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with Ira Hobbs and Matthew Jensen officiating.

Burial was held in Memorial Park Cemeter y, Tyler. Mrs. Carlile died April 11, 2007 in Troup.

She was born Jan. 1, 1921 in Austin to the late Andrew and Evie Lou Bryant Swofford. She was a homemaker and lived in Houston prior to moving to Troup in 1980. She was preceded in death by her brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Rex Carlile, Troup; daughters, Gloria Hockersmith, Garland, Sandra Beeman, Troup, and Cathy Turner, Houston; brother, Henry Swofford, Austin; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
