Members of the Whitehouse Family, Career and Community Leaders of America group competing at the Smith County Junior Livestock Show (home economics division) are (above, left to right) Stephanie Evans, Holly Mann (FCCLA sponsor), Ashley Potter and Lacie Farley. In the top left photo, senior Ashley Potter displays her Reserve Champion winning birdhouse fountain, which earned $150 at auction. Potter also won a red ribbon for a painted ceiling tile, blue ribbon for a honeybun cake and red ribbon for a caramel-topped amaretto poppyseed cake. Pictured at left is freshman Lacie Farley, who won three red ribbons for her orange blossoms, pink candy and photo. At right, freshman Stephanie Evans won Reserve Champion (clothing division) for a satin belt which earned $50 at auction. Her other awards are red ribbons for chocolate cake and latchhook rug.
