Troup followed last Tuesday's 3-1 win over Tatum with an 8-5 loss to Elysian Fields Friday, April 13. Nick Harrison (above) picked up the Tatum win and notched 12 strikeouts and one earned run. Austin Braswell recorded the loss to Elysian Fields. Offensively, Adam Voigt led the Tigers against Tatum, accounting for all three runs thanks to a two-run triple and sac fly. Joel Hasley was 2-3 at the plate as well. Against Elysian Fields, Jaron Hasley hit a solo homer, and Harrison was in good form at the plate. The split games bring the Tigers overall record to 20- 4. Troup boys and girls play host to Timpson tomorrow.
