Whitehouse falls at home to Pirates

Whitehouse could not follow up last Tuesday's win on the road with a home win Friday night as they would fall to state ranked Pine Tree by a score of 12-2.

The Pirates would get to Whitehouse starter Grant Brandon for five runs in the second inning to build a 6-0 lead and would never look back.

The Wildcats would get on the board in the third inning as Ryan Miner would connect on a two-run homer.

Evan Beaton would pick up a double on the night while Banks Brandon would triple in the third for the Wildcats. Heath Mayo also had a single to pick up the fourth hit of the night for the 'Cats.
