Tiger teams finish 5th

A near photofinish in the 100 meter dash saw Troup's Derrick Thompson finish in second place. Thompson had a strong showing at Thursday's district track meet in Troup, with third place in the 400 meter run and first in the 200 meter run. Below, Jocelyn Carrizales races to a fifth place finish in the 100 meter dash.

Both the boys and girls track teams at Troup High School finished fifth at the district meet in Troup last Thursday. Tatum won the boys division and Garrison the girls.
