Robert Morgan Fryman

HENDERSON - Services for Robert Morgan Fryman, 78, of Henderson were held April 21 at Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Home chapel, Henderson, with the Rev. Billy Paul Cain officiating. Burial was in Rusk County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Fryman died April 18, 2007, in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 5, 1928, in Mount Enterprise. He moved to Henderson as a child, where he lived most of his life. He graduated from Henderson High School and entered the Postal Service. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he retired from the Postal Service in 1979. After retirement, he lived in Cyprus and Egypt for seven years as a member of the Christian charity Frontiers, returning to the Henderson area in 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda.

Survivors include sons, Tommy Fryman, Whitehouse, and Tony Fryman, Spokane, Wash., daughter, Jeleta Eckheart, England; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces. Pallbearers were Bobby Spencer, Tom Comer, Randy Freeman, Kenneth Holland, Jerry Standley and Robert Humphries. Honorary pallbearers were Burke Green, Pat McClelland, Dick Carter, Buster Duran and James Anderson.
