Myrtle O. "Sissy" Davies

Services for Myrtle O. "Sissy" Davies, 75, of Tyler were held April 24 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors chapel in Tyler with Pastor Michael D. Bowen officiating.

Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Davies died April 22, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Tyler to the late Edward A. and Myrtle O. Wright Brown, and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Fifth Street Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Louis D. Davies, Tyler; daughters, Dinah S. Bledsoe, Arp, and Debbie A. Kersh, Tyler; brother, Merton O. Brown, Tyler; sister, Martha S. Staples, Whitehouse; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Page, Ronnie Pyron, Ron Davis, Roy Roberson, Roger Schurbon and Rodney Rogers.
