Bobbie Cooper
Services for Bobbie Cooper, 63, of Whitehouse were held April 27 at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler with the Rev. Walter Jones and Roy Cooper officiating.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tyler.

Mrs. Cooper died April 22, 2007 in Tyler.

She was born June 7, 1943 in Tyler to Robert "Bob" and Louise Burns, and was a lifelong resident. She graduated in 1961 from Robert E. Lee High School and attended Federal Institute of Business School. She was a secretary for Squires, Johnson and Squires Accounting Firm for eight years, and then worked as an accounting clerk for Brookshire's Grocery Company for 15 years. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Burns.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Gerald Cooper, Whitehouse; mother, Louise Burns, Tyler; sister, Martha Burns Shepherd, Flint; one nephew; and four nieces.

Pallbearers were Darwin Stainback, Terry Cooper, Glen Wilkins, Robert Williams, Robert McClanahan, David Price, Joe Burns and Robert York.
