Hubert Leon Weatherly
Services for Hubert Leon "Red" Weatherly, 94, of Appleby were held April 28 at Garrison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shan Durham officiating.

Burial was in Sunset Cemetery, Nacogdoches.

Mr. Weatherly died April 25, 2007.

He was born March 8, 1913 in Nacogdoches.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Travation; second wife, Iris Smith Weatherly; brothers Preston and Hugh Weatherly; and sisters Ruth Weatherly, Catherine Black and Alma Leta Foley.

Survivors include his wife ,Maurine Hutson Weatherly of Appleby; brothers, Jack Weatherly and wife Lurline of Garrison and Bobby Weatherly of Conroe; sisters, Jewel Pirtle of Carthage, Billie Jean Barnhart and husband Oscar of Douglas, Margaret Spivey and husband J.Y. of Garrison and Betty Harper Young and husband Jim of Garrison. He is also survived by grandchildren Jeff Miskell of Troup, Arla Phelps of Jacksonville, great-granddaughter Amie Lynn Adams of Troup, great-great-grandchildren Sean Adams and Emory Miskell. Other survivors include several step sons, nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend and caretaker Sandi Luman.
