Lucinda Ervin
Mrs. Ervin died April 21, 2007 at a Tyler hospice. She was born June 2, 1918 in Bullard and was a lifelong resident of Smith County. She attended Stanton schools, was a health provider sitter, and a member of Bishop Chapel and Whitehouse COGIC, where she served on Usher Board, Mothers Board, Deaconess Board and Pastor's Aid Committee. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Ervin; two stepdaughters; and eight siblings. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Gerald Mackey, Rothetron Matlock, James Stewart, Ray Jones, Jerry Ervin, Sheldon Webster, Jimmy Vanzant, Lewis Hill and Ezra Ervin Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Lester Moore, Albert Haggerty, Roger Ervin, Lonnie Hill, Bobby R. Hill, Ronnie Haggerty, Ray Jones, and deacons of Whitehouse COGIC, Bishop Chapel COGIC and Antioch Baptist Church. |
