Dewayne Allen Murphy

BULLARD - Graveside services for Dewayne Allen Murphy, infant son of Kenneth Dewayne Speer and Jewell Ann Murphy, were held May 1 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near New London with the Rev. Shane Morgan officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. The infant was born and died April 28, 2007 in Tyler.

He was preceded in death by great-grandfather, O.W. Gregg in 1975; great-uncle, Tommy Ray Gregg in 1993; and great-aunt, Cheryl Ann Jones in 2004.

Survivors include his parents, Jewell A. Murphy, Bullard; father, Kenneth D. Speer, Whitehouse; brother, Nicholas Speer, New Chapel Hill; sisters, Alanta Speer and Alexis Speer, both of New Chapel Hill; grandparents, Mark Speer, New Chapel Hill, Teresa Baker, Tyler; Jerry Baughman, Overton, and Lydia Barnes, Garland; great-grandparents, Betty Porter, Whitehouse, Papa Sonny and Ola Gill, New London; and other relatives.
