Whitehouse High School art students practiced their craft outdoors this week, creating "Masterpieces on the Sidewalk." The students participate in this event each spring to celebrate National Youth Art Month, said instructor Christine Killian. The event is usually in March, but was rained out this year. "The kids look forward to this project every year. They pick from stacks of works of famous or well-know artists and duplicate the works on the sidewalk," said Mrs. Killian.
