Tigers to face Centerville

Troup pitcher Adam Voigt knocked in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the Tigers 4-3 loss to Tatum

The Troup Tigers will take on Centerville 6:30 p.m. tonight in Jacksonville for game one of a best-of-three bi-district series.

Game two will be 6:30 p.m. Friday in Crockett; if necessary, game three will be played at noon in Palestine.

Troup battled Tatum for a first-round bye, but lost 4-3. Pitcher Adam Voigt knocked in two of the three runs on a basesloaded single.

The Tigers finished district play with a 10-4 victory over Arp Friday, resulting in a tie for district championship with Tatum.
