Join the senior fun in Whitehouse Whitehouse Senior Citizens Center reminds all seniors that you have a place to come to eat and enjoy the company of other seniors. Come and play games, dominos, Uno, Spinner, Skip-bo and bingo. And there is always a puzzle on the table. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our last senior to join us is Violet Scanlon. She is just 90 years old. She joins in all activities and usually wins. The mini bus brings her for a small donation each time. It would do the same for you. Don't sit around the house and grow old! Another couple just recently came by and ended up helping with our garage sale and delivering meals to the homebound. Welcome Paul and Dee Anderson. It is always good when someone offers to help deliver to the homebound. We always need this kind of help. Welcome to Garvin Holmes. Good to see Gus Fite and Bill Kee, come back soon. For a donation of $3, you can eat lunch but you have to tell the center's manager, Carol Arnold, the day before so she can order your meal. The food is good. The games are fun and the company's even better! Seniors, this center is for you. Come and join us! The center is located at 118 Railroad Ave. in Whitehouse, 903-839-6958. |
