Whitehouse student killed in car accident

Alexander Erikson Fleming, 17, was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle accident on Farm Road 848, just north of Whitehouse.

The accident happened shortly after 10 p.m. The Department of Public Safety says Fleming lost control of his car on a curve, and it slid into the path of a car driven by Misty Jones, 27, of Whitehouse. She is listed in stable condition at Tyler's Mother Francis Hospital.
