'Pinocchio Commedia' on tap Saturday at WHS

Whitehouse High School Theatre presents "Pinocchio Commedia" Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The 30-minute children's show tells the classic story of Pinocchio, complete with a cricket for a conscience. Admission is $1.

Members of the cast are:

Lydia Uribe as Beltramo, a cat; Sloan Warner as Columbina, a spirit; Ashley Anderson as Arlecchino, a cricket; Katie Neal as Pulchinella, wicked puppet master; Caylee Stamps as Pinocchio, a wooden head; Cody Lindley as Pedrolina, a donkey; Bryon Dunlap as Pantalone/Geppetto; and Sandrah Leigh Patty as Razullo, a fox.

Open auditions for this production were held at the beginning of the semester, said Melissa Danforth, WHS theater director.
