WH schedules soccer camp

Budding soccer players will get the chance to improve their skills at a dual soccer camp for boys and girls, hosted by the varsity Wildcat and Lady Cat coaches at Whitehouse High School.

The camp is scheduled June 5-7 from 6-8 p.m. daily at the WHS practice field. The camp is open to students entering the first grade through those entering the ninth grade.

Cost is $40 when pre-registering, or $50 on the first day of camp. A T-shirt will be provided for each player.

Chris Clemons is the varsity boys coach. He has been coaching high school soccer for seven years with many successful seasons. Brad Jones is the girls soccer coach. He has been coaching girls soccer for seven years, including six for the highly successful Whitehouse Ladycats.

The camp will put the players through drills focusing on ball handling, passing, shooting, and team play.

Registration information includes player's name, grade, address, phone number, playing experience and T-shirt size.
