Lorine Harris Cook
Services for Lorine Harris Cook, 85, of Tyler were held May 22 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Milton Gardner officiating.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook died May 19, 2007 in a Tyler hospital.

She was born June 23, 1921 in Dierks, Ark., to the late Fount James and Frankie Ellen Cook Harris. She lived in Jacksonville prior to moving to Tyler in 1962, was a retired ward assistant for East Texas Medical Center Hospital, and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by bother, Dearl Harris, and sisters, Joyce Perkins and Wanda Laverne Hill.

Survivors include sons, Alan Loyd Mauldin, Whitehouse, and Paul Bruce Hill, Tyler; daughters, Gloria Lynn Wesberry, Balch Springs, and Mary Ann Beeler, Whitehouse; sister, Eloise Harris Reese, Houston; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Wesberry, Bobby Wesberry, Benny Wesberry, Matt Dickerson and Michael Beeler.
